The 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLB debuts with electric variants positioned as the first phase of the model’s global rollout. The EV lineup includes the GLB 250+ with rear-wheel drive and the GLB 350 4MATIC with all-wheel drive. Mild-hybrid petrol versions will follow later in 2026, expanding the model range.
The electric GLB features an 85 kWh battery, delivering up to 631 km WLTP range in the GLB 250+ and up to 614 km WLTP in the GLB 350 4MATIC. Power outputs range from 268 hp to 349 hp, with 0–62 mph times of 7.4 seconds and 5.5 seconds respectively. The EV also supports 800V charging with speeds up to 320 kW.
Design changes include a CLA-inspired connected headlight setup, wider dimensions, and a redesigned rear with full-width taillamps. The cabin gains the new MBUX Superscreen, MB.OS software, Google-based mapping, and an optional electrochromic panoramic roof. A seven-seat configuration and a 127-liter frunk are available on EV variants.
