The Citroën Basalt Vision concept has made its debut at the São Paulo Motor Show, showcasing a sport-focused evolution of the Basalt and hinting at its arrival in India. The Basalt Vision concept brings a sharper design and premium touches that raise expectations for the Indian market.

Key Highlights

Unveiled on 21 November 2025 in Brazil.
Finished in bright amber yellow with red accents and gloss-black cladding.
Sport-styled Basalt variant with lowered stance, 18-inch petal-design alloys, red brake calipers and “Vision” badging.
Utilises the same mechanicals as the standard Basalt: 1.2 litre petrol (naturally aspirated) and 1.2 litre turbo petrol with approx 80–109 bhp and 115–205 Nm torque.
If launched in India, expected pricing around ₹ 14-15 lakh ex-showroom – about ₹ 50,000-₹1 lakh above the standard Basalt. Not officially confirmed yet.

Citroën has presented the Basalt Vision concept in Brazil — marking the brand’s push to inject more sportiness into its coupe-SUV offering.
