Honda CRF300 Rally to Launch in India by October 2025, Adventure-Ready Build

The CRF300 Rally is almost ready to answer India’s growing call for true dual-sport machines. After months of testing and customer clinics in Bengaluru, Honda seems set to bring this globally popular adventure motorcycle to India by October 2025.

The CRF300 Rally takes a more focused approach to rough-terrain riding, unlike tourers that favor the highway. It shares its roots with the lightweight CRF300L but steps things up with extras like a high-mounted windscreen, upsized fuel tank, underbody protection, and travel-friendly details aimed at riders venturing far off the grid.

While official confirmation from Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) is still pending, insiders suggest the Rally will arrive with a price tag between ₹5.00 and ₹5.25 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s likely to be imported as a CKD or CBU model, depending on the market response.

Key Highlights:

  • Built around a semi-double cradle chassis with extended-travel suspension
  • 286cc liquid-cooled engine delivering ~27PS and 26.6Nm
  • 12.8-litre fuel tank for extended touring range
  • Tall seat height, spoke wheels, and twin LED headlights tuned for tough trails
  • Expected rivals include the KTM 390 Adventure, RE Himalayan 450, and Kawasaki Versys-X 300

With the KTM 390 Adventure X and Royal Enfield’s latest Himalayan already in the spotlight, the CRF300 Rally arrives with purpose not flash. Its focus remains clear: rugged dependability over shiny gimmicks.
