MINI has officially commenced pre-launch bookings for the new-generation Cooper Convertible in India through its website and authorised dealerships. The model is positioned as a premium open-top option, expanding MINI’s portfolio ahead of its December 2025 market launch.

The India-spec Cooper Convertible is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 204 hp and 300 Nm, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. MINI claims a 0–100 km/h time of 6.9 seconds. The highlight feature remains its electrically operated soft-top roof, which can be fully opened or closed in 18 seconds, even while driving at speeds up to 30 km/h.

Inside, the Convertible gets MINI’s new 9.4-inch Android-based circular OLED display that doubles as the instrument cluster. Other features include ambient lighting, wireless charging and premium cabin materials. Final variant, colour and feature combinations for India are yet to be officially confirmed.
