What’s New: Classic Design Meets 2025 Tech

Suzuki is going back in time – but in a good way. The all-new GSX-8T and GSX-8TT are here to bring old-school style with modern underpinnings. These middleweight street bikes draw heavy inspiration from Suzuki’s golden era, reimagined through the lens of 2025 performance and rider tech.

Coming global in mid-2025, they’re for seasoned riders and new enthusiasts looking for character with capability.

GSX-8T & 8TT: Two Bikes, One Soul

GSX-8T: The Street Classic

Inspired by the 1960s T500 Titan, the GSX-8T has a round headlamp, flat-bottom styling and a bold tank-to-tail paint contrast. The 3D “eight-ball” emblem is the icing on the cake, Suzuki’s nod to the past.

GSX-8TT: Timeless Racer

The GSX-8TT channels vintage racing DNA with its wind-deflecting cowl, sculpted underbelly, and a cool grey-black finish that hints at track heritage. Blacked-out KYB forks, handlebar-end mirrors, and sporty wheels complete the retro-racer look.

Both bikes have Suzuki’s first-ever handlebar-end mirrors – form and function.

Performance for Today

Powering both bikes is a refined 776cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine – the same torque-rich unit that’s also found in Suzuki’s V-Strom 800 and GSX-8 series.

  • Output: Approx. 82.9 PS at 8,500 rpm
  • Torque: About 78 Nm at 6,800 rpm
  • Fuel Tank: 16.5 liters

The 270-degree crank gives V-twin-like character and smooth torque across the rev range – perfect for city sprints and weekend road trips.

Tech to Make Riding Easier

Both models have rider-focused tech under the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.), including:

  • SDMS with 3 power modes
  • 3-level Traction Control + OFF
  • Quickshifter (Up/Down)
  • Ride-by-Wire Throttle
  • Low RPM Assist & Easy Start* 5-inch Full-Color TFT Display
  • USB-C Charging Port

And yes, dual-channel ABS.

Chassis and Control: Any Road, Any Time

Built on a steel twin-spar frame with aluminum swingarm, the 8T and 8TT are for real-world riding.

  • Suspension: KYB USD forks + KYB monoshock
  • Brakes: Twin 310 mm discs up front, 240 mm rear
  • Wheels: Lightweight alloy rims paired with Dunlop Roadsport 2 rubber for precise, confidence-inspiring grip.
  • Weight: 201 kg (GSX-8T), 203 kg (GSX-8TT)

Pricing and Launch

Suzuki has priced them competitively in the UK:

  • GSX-8T: £9,599
  • GSX-8TT: £9,999

Suzuki will kick off international deliveries by mid-2025, beginning with the European and North American markets.
