Velocifero Mobster India Launch Confirmed with Dashcam Tech
The Velocifero Mobster India launch is finally confirmed and it’s not your regular maxi-scooter. Coming in August 2025, this Italian designed machine has features never seen before in the segment – including a built-in front dashcam as standard.
The Mobster will be locally assembled at Kolhapur through Motohaus India’s tie-up with KAW Veloce Motors, with initial availability planned for key cities such as Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, Goa, and others in the rollout phase.
Why It Stands Out: Built-In Dashcam and More
At first glance the Mobster looks like a streetfighter and a cyberpunk cruiser – bold twin-headlamps, exposed handlebar and a chunky floorboard gives it real street presence.
But it’s not just looks. Here’s what makes it segment-first:
- Integrated Front Dashcam
- Switchable Dual-Channel ABS
- Liquid Cooled Engines (125cc or 180cc)
- 5-inch Full-Color TFT Display with Mobile Screen Mirroring
- USB Charging, Dual Disc Brakes, Hydraulic Suspension
You also get 12-inch alloy wheels with thick tyres (120 front, 130 rear) and four colours – Grey, White, Red and Yellow.
Designed by Alessandro Tartarini it’s a head-turner.
Engine, Variants and Performance
Motohaus hasn’t confirmed which variant will launch first but here’s what we know:
125cc Variant
- Power: ~12 PS
- Torque: ~11.7 Nm
- Top Speed: ~100 kmph
- Expected Price: ₹1.4 lakh (ex-showroom)
180cc Variant
- Power: ~18 PS
- Torque: ~15.7 Nm
- Top Speed: ~110 kmph
- Expected Price: ₹1.7 lakh (ex-showroom)
Both have liquid cooling and are self-start only focusing on performance and refinement.
Who’s It Competing With?
Think of it as a rival to the:
- Yamaha Aerox 155
- Aprilia SXR 125/160* Hero Xoom 160
- Vespa SXL 150
But unlike those the Mobster has more tech, more drama and a bold safety-first approach with that dashcam.
