Hyundai is giving the Venue a full reboot for 2026. Once a segment leader, the compact SUV is back to reclaim its title as the “Smart Choice” for Indian buyers – with bold design changes, premium cabin tech and smarter safety.

Launch is expected during the festive season of late 2025 or early 2026. After a dip in sales from 9,890 (June 2024) to 6,858 (June 2025), Hyundai’s response is this all new version to grab attention and wallet share.

Sharper Looks, Inside and Out

The new Venue gets a visual upgrade. Expect a bolder front grille, reshaped air intakes and updated LED DRLs. Bumpers are new and the N Line gets red accents, aggressive alloys and a dual-tip exhaust.

Step inside and it’s clear Hyundai has gone all in on tech. Depending on the variant you’ll get:

  • The center console will house a wide, crisp touchscreen – likely a 10.25-inch unit – designed to work seamlessly with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
  • Select top variants may introduce a pair of expansive 12.3-inch displays, offering a tech-forward layout that feels straight out of a luxury SUV.
  • A fully digital instrument cluster
  • Cooling seats up front and cable-free charging make daily commutes a lot more relaxing and convenient.
  • Premium bits in the N Line – leatherette seats, red ambient lighting, metal pedals and an N branded steering wheel

Also expected: Alexa enabled Home to Car tech, heated mirrors, and a sunroof on top variants.

Smarter Safety: ADAS Just Got Better

One of the biggest upgrades could be the Venue’s jump from Level 1 to Level 2 ADAS. If confirmed that means you get:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go
  • Forward Collision-Avoidance with pedestrian and cyclist detection
  • Lane Keeping Assist and Blind-Spot Monitoring
  • Driver Attention Warning
  • Rear Disc Brakes now standard on top trims

Hyundai’s safety commitment is across the board with six airbags, ESC, VSM, ABS with EBD, hill assist, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

Engines That Work for India

Hyundai continues with its trusted engine lineup, refined to balance city agility and highway comfort.

  • 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol
  • 1.0L turbo-petrol (approx. 120 PS, 172 Nm)
  • 1.5L diesel (around 116 PS, 250 Nm)

You’ll have a choice of 5-speed and 6-speed manuals, plus a 7-speed DCT on turbo variants. N Line models will keep their sportier suspension and steering setup for a more fun drive.

Expected Price and Launch

The 2026 Hyundai Venue is expected to launch between ₹7.90 lakh and ₹14 lakh (ex-showroom). With its new design, smarter cabin, advanced safety and tried-and-tested engines it’s aimed at buyers who want premium features without leaving the subcompact segment.
