Porsche has launched the Taycan 4S Black Edition in India, priced at ₹2.07 crore (ex-showroom. The new variant adds a stealthier, more exclusive twist to the luxury EV lineup, with visual and feature upgrades over the standard Taycan 4S.
What’s New on the Outside?
The Taycan 4S Black Edition gets a full black treatment on the front apron, side skirts, ORVM bases, rear diffuser and even the badging. The 21-inch Aero Design wheels get a gloss black finish that matches the car’s stealthy theme. Smoked HD-Matrix LED headlamps and white Porsche puddle lamps complete the look.
Black Cabin, Premium Feel
Inside, it’s all about that dark, driver-focused vibe. The cabin comes with a choice of two Race-Tex (Alcantara + leatherette) trims or an optional full black leather upholstery. You can also add dual-tone options. The Black Edition badge on the center console marks it as a special model, while 14-way power seats with memory and Porsche Crest-embossed headrests are a nice touch.
Still a Proper Porsche Performer
Mechanically, the Porsche Taycan 4S Black Edition is the same as before. The dual-motor AWD setup delivers up to 598 hp (with overboost) and 710 Nm of torque. So, 0–100 kmph in 3.7 seconds and top speed of 250 kmph.
It has a 105 kWh battery pack (97 kWh net) and a WLTP-certified range of up to 668 km on a single charge. The 800V system supports 320 kW DC fast charging and can charge from 5 to 80 percent in 18 minutes under ideal conditions.
