The 2026 Kawasaki Versys 650 has been launched with a fresh update. The popular adventure tourer gets three new dual-tone paint schemes while retaining the mechanics and features that have made it a favourite among touring riders. The international rollout is set for mid-August, while the India debut is expected toward the end of 2025.
New Look, Same Versatile Performer
At the heart of the 2026 Kawasaki Versys 650 is the same 649cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that delivers 67 PS at 8,500 rpm and 61 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. Paired with a 6-speed gearbox, it continues to offer a smooth, linear power delivery for both highway and city riding. The engine is Euro 5+ compliant.
The new paint schemes are:
- Metallic Deep Blue with Metallic Spark Black
- Metallic Graphite Gray with Metallic Spark Black
- Metallic Spark Black with Metallic Matte Carbon Gray
These dual-tone combinations give the bike a fresh look, inspired by its bigger brother, the Versys 1000.
Features That Stay
Kawasaki has retained all the core features, so the 2026 Versys 650 remains a practical all-rounder:
- Adjustable Windscreen for long distance comfort
- A 4.3-inch full-color TFT screen handles the dash duties, offering crisp visuals and seamless smartphone pairing through Kawasaki’s Rideology app.
- Full LED lighting for better visibility
- KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control) with two modes
- A balanced suspension setup paired with 17-inch wheels makes the bike ready for changing road conditions.
- Dual disc brakes up front with ABS for stopping power
