Mahindra will unveil the Bolero Neo facelift on August 15, with design and feature upgrades aimed at keeping the rugged SUV relevant in India’s fast-evolving sub-4 meter segment.

New Design, Bolder Look

The updated Bolero Neo will get a new design and features to stay relevant in the fast changing sub-4 meter segment.

Fresh Look

The new Bolero Neo will have a more modern and aggressive look. Key changes could be a new Mahindra grille, sharper headlamps (ditching the round ones), chunkier wheel arches. Rear may get subtle changes too -repositioned spare wheel and sleeker bumper. Overall it will be more SUV like and upright.

New Cabin and Tech

Inside Mahindra will offer a new dashboard and a larger touchscreen infotainment system like Thar and Scorpio N. Improved materials and more convenience features to enhance in-cabin experience.

Safety

One of the major highlight of the update could be safety. Mahindra is rumored to offer six airbags as standard which will be a big jump for the model. There’s talk of ADAS features for next gen model – though that might come later.

Engine and Transmission

For now the 1.5-litre mHAWk100 diesel engine will continue to produce 100 bhp and 260 Nm of torque with 5-speed manual gearbox. Mahindra might be planning a more comprehensive powertrain overhaul for next gen -including a petrol option and possibly the 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo diesel from XUV 3XO lineup.

Launch and Rivals

After August 15 debut the facelifted Bolero Neo will go on sale later in 2025. It will continue to rival Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Skoda Kushaq but will be unique with its ladder-frame chassis and rear-wheel-drive setup.
