Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Spotted Testing Before Launch

I still remember the first time I heard the Bullet thump down a quiet lane. It was raw, emotional and unforgettable. Now imagine that thump with a twin-cylinder heart. That’s what Royal Enfield is going to deliver with the upcoming Royal Enfield Bullet 650 and we have our first look.

The new Bullet 650 has been spotted testing and while it was camouflaged, it couldn’t hide its soul. From what I saw, the iconic teardrop tank, long bench seat and upright handlebar are all intact. But what stood out was the size. It’s visibly bigger, like a Bullet that’s been hitting the gym.

Underneath that vintage silhouette is the same 648cc parallel-twin engine we’ve already seen (and loved) in the Interceptor and Super Meteor. It’s refined, torquey and mated to a 6-speed gearbox. You just know this machine will feel as good on highways as it does in town.

It looks like Royal Enfield wants to keep the retro vibe alive with 18-inch wire-spoked wheels, telescopic front forks and a semi-digital cluster that blends old-school charm with modern essentials. There’s even talk of USB charging and Tripper navigation, it’s as functional as it is nostalgic.

If all goes well we might see it in showrooms by late 2025. And judging by the spy shots it’s almost ready to roar. Honestly I’m already picturing myself riding it down an empty highway with that thump in my ears.

This isn’t just another Royal Enfield. This is the Bullet, reborn.
