Citroen Aircross X: Book Now, What’s New

Citroen Aircross X bookings are open across India with a token amount of ₹11,000. This is the brand’s next feature-led update after the C3 X and Basalt X. The Citroen Aircross X gets buyer-critical features like cruise control and an optional 360-degree camera while keeping the powertrains intact for a familiar driving experience.

Design and exterior

Aircross X retains the core silhouette of the standard model but gets a new dark green colour and an ‘X’ badge on the tailgate to signify the update. Teaser images and reports also suggests dual-tone alloys for a subtle differentiation without changing the SUV’s dimensions or stance.

Features: Cruise control and Cara AI

Inside, it’s all about everyday usability upgrades led by cruise control, a long pending request for highway comfort. Expect push-button start/stop, white ambient lighting, leatherette-wrapped dashboard and an optional 360-degree camera; higher trims will get Citroen’s Cara AI for voice control and vehicle insights.

Engine and performance

No mechanical changes expected with the Aircross X update, just like the X-series strategy. The SUV continues with the 1.2-litre NA petrol and 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, 82 hp/115 Nm and 110 hp/190-205 Nm respectively depending on the transmission.

Aircross X price and booking

Positioned as a new top-spec variant, the Aircross X will be priced at a premium over the current range, which starts from ₹8.62 Lakh. While the exact on-road price will be announced at launch, it is expected to be competitive against rivals given the recent GST price cuts on the entire Citroen lineup. Bookings open at ₹11,000 and full price and variant details will be out in a few weeks.

Citroen’s “X” strategy in India

Aircross X follows the C3 X and Basalt X template: add high-impact features, keep powertrains and sharpen value to compete harder in the C-SUV space. With GST-related price adjustments making the entire range more affordable, this feature-led update targets stronger showroom pull without a mechanical overhaul.

Closing note

For customers, it’s convenience and tech – cruise control, 360° view and Cara AI – without messing with the winning formula.
