I can still picture the first time I heard an inline-four open up on a long straight, the sound slicing through the air and rattling in my chest. That’s the kind of rush CF Moto is chasing with the new CF Moto 750SR-S, and they might just pull it off.
This is CF Moto’s first in-house-built inline-four, a 749cc liquid-cooled engine making around 110 horsepower and 59 lb-ft of torque. It’s stepping right into the ring with Yamaha’s R7 and Kawasaki’s Ninja ZX-6R, but with the smoothness and top-end punch only an inline-four can deliver.
The design screams performance with sharp full fairings, double L-shaped LED headlights, and a single-sided swingarm showing off an optional aerodynamic rear wheel cover. The under-seat quad exhaust hints at a soundtrack worth the price alone.
Brembo brakes, fully adjustable KYB suspension, a six-axis IMU with cornering ABS and traction control, and RideSync connectivity put it right up there with pricier rivals. If CF Moto keeps its value approach, the 750SR-S could be the middleweight sportbike to watch.
