I’ve seen companies shift gears before, but what Honda India did in July 2025 is worth talking about. While the market was slow, Honda accelerated through exports.

The numbers are impressive. Out of 7,524 cars sold in July, 3,474 were exports, a whopping 28.19% year on year growth. Domestic sales were down slightly but the real win here is how Honda turned the global game around, shipping more Amaze, Elevate and City to Latin America, Africa and Southeast Asia. That’s smart when the home market isn’t hot.

To add to the festive cheer, Honda has launched its Great Honda Fest. I always feel these seasonal campaigns are more than just discounts, they’re the brand’s way of reconnecting with Indian customers. This year’s fest has not just offers but new accessories like 360° surround vision camera for Elevate and Amaze.

According to Honda’s VP Kunal Behl, inventory levels have been adjusted to match demand and with the festive season kicking in, they’re banking on a strong bounce back in domestic sales.

So if I were you, this month’s story isn’t just about numbers. It’s about strategy. Honda India is playing smart, exporting big and preparing for a festive comeback with offers that might just tempt a few new customers into showrooms.
