The Mahindra Thar 3-Door Facelift is making noise in the automotive world, with strong rumors pointing to a September 2025 launch. While Mahindra hasn’t confirmed it, multiple test mules have been spotted and the updated lifestyle SUV is almost ready to be unveiled.

Styling updates appear to take cues from the larger Thar Roxx. Expect a sharper nose, new bumper, slimmer LED tail lamps and fresh alloy wheels that give the SUV a modern look without losing its off-road charm.

Inside, the biggest highlight will be the new 10.25-inch touchscreen replacing the current 7-inch unit. The cabin will also get a new steering wheel, power window switches on the doors, wireless charger, digital driver’s display and possibly 360-degree camera and ventilated front seats for top trims.

Under the hood, the facelift is expected to carry forward the 2.0L turbo-petrol and 1.5L/2.2L diesel engine options with manual and automatic transmissions and RWD or 4WD options.

If the launch timeline is true, the Mahindra Thar 3-Door Facelift will soon be ready to take on the Maruti Jimny and Force Gurkha with style, tech and off-road capability.
