Skoda Auto India has officially announced the return of the Skoda Octavia RS. Pre-bookings for this performance sedan will open on October 6, 2025 and only 100 units will be available for the first batch.

• Drivetrain: Front-wheel-drive

While it has the same global power, the India car will not have Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) and will focus on raw performance.

Pricing and Positioning

Skoda is expected to price the Octavia RS in the range of ₹50–55 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be a Completely Built Unit (CBU) under limited allocation.

In India, the Octavia RS will rival imported performance cars like the Volkswagen Golf GTI with the same platform (MQB Evo) but with a sedan body and more boot space.

Both cars are expected to sell out fast, with scarcity driving exclusivity.
