Tesla is taking another big step in India. After its Mumbai launch last month, the American EV brand will unveil its second showroom today at the Worldmark 3 complex in Delhi’s Aerocity. The launch is scheduled for 2 PM, as confirmed by the company on X.
This new Tesla Delhi showroom will be similar to the Mumbai Experience Centre with the Model Y as the hero product. The car will come in two variants, the Rear-Wheel Drive priced at around ₹60 lakh with a WLTP range of 500 km and the Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive for around ₹68 lakh with a range of 622 km. The Full Self-Driving package is available for ₹6 lakh.
The Aerocity store will not just be for display and bookings. Tesla is already setting up the groundwork for its EV infrastructure in Delhi-NCR, which will include Supercharger and Destination Charging stations like the one in Mumbai.
Deliveries of the Model Y will start in Q3 2025 and the early allocations will be to customers in Mumbai, Delhi and Gurugram. With the second launch so soon after Mumbai, Tesla is clearly gunning for a strong presence in India’s premium EV space and that will raise the stakes for the existing players in the market.
