I always thought the TVS Ntorq 125 was one of the most fun scooters to ride in the city. Now TVS is going to take that fun to the next level with the upcoming Ntorq 150. The official launch is just around the corner and the buzz is that this scooter will have the right mix of sporty design, more power and loaded features.
Sporty New Look
The teaser gives us a glimpse of what’s coming and honestly it looks meaner than before. A quad-projector LED headlamp sits upfront along with the familiar “T” shaped DRL that fans will recognize. The scooter also gets sharper body lines and larger 14-inch alloy wheels which will not only enhance its road presence but also improve stability at higher speeds or while taking corners.
Engine and Performance
The Ntorq 150 will be powered by a brand new 150cc engine which will deliver close to 12 bhp and 13 Nm of torque. That’s a significant jump from the 125, so it will be quicker off the line and more fun to ride. A deeper, sportier exhaust note has also been hinted at so the scooter won’t just feel faster but will sound the part too. Add in riding modes like Street and Race and you have a scooter that can handle both daily commutes and those weekend spirited rides.
Features and Safety
Tech lovers are in for a treat with a TFT instrument cluster offering SmartXonnect features like navigation, call alerts and ride stats. Safety won’t be compromised with single-channel ABS with front disc and rear drum setup. Practical touches like USB charging, external fuel filling and under-seat storage make it just as convenient for daily use.
Price and Competition
The official launch is scheduled for September 1, 2025 at TVS’s Hosur facility. Prices are expected to start from ₹1.3 lakh (ex-showroom) which puts it directly against the Yamaha Aerox 155, Hero Xoom 160 and Aprilia’s 160cc range.
If Ntorq 125 was fun with practicality, TVS Ntorq 150 is the brand’s performance scooter statement and it looks like it’s going to disrupt the whole segment.
