Honda has unveiled the CB125 Hornet in India with bold design, premium features and class leading performance. Bookings start from August 1 and prices will be announced later this month.
Muscular Styling, Youth Appeal
CB125 Hornet has a streetfighter look with sharp tank extensions, sculpted body and all-LED lighting. It stands out with golden USD forks, split seats and upswept muffler – features that make it look sporty. A unique feature is the fuel-tank mounted key slot, which is both stylish and functional.
Segment-First Tech & Safety Features
The cockpit features a vibrant 4.2-inch color TFT display, paired with Bluetooth integration via Honda RoadSync for added functionality. Riders can access turn-by-turn navigation, calls, messages and music alerts all on the instrument screen. A USB Type-C charger is standard.
Braking duties are handled by a 240mm petal disc at the front with single-channel ABS, while the rear uses a 130mm drum setup. Safety gets a boost with side-stand engine inhibitor and engine kill switch. Comfort is taken care of with 5-step adjustable mono-shock and wide tubeless tyres for stable handling.
Performance That Pushes the Limit
CB125 Hornet runs on a 123.94cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine with fuel injection and OBD2B compliance. It produces 11.14 PS at 7500 rpm and 11.2 Nm at 6000 rpm with a 5-speed gearbox. The CB125 Hornet clocks a 0–60 km/h sprint in just 5.4 seconds – a quick number for the 125cc category. At just 124 kg it’s light and flickable in city traffic.
Expected Price and Market Rivals
Expected price range is between ₹95,000 to ₹1,00,000 (ex-showroom) and it will compete with TVS Raider 125, Hero Xtreme 125R, Bajaj Pulsar NS125/N125.
With its sharp design and feature-rich package, the Honda CB125 Hornet positions itself as a serious contender to redefine what riders can expect from the 125cc segment.
