Introduction

JSW MG Motor India is set to unveil the Updated MG Hector Facelift on December 15, 2025, bringing refreshed design elements and new technology upgrades. The SUV continues its mid-cycle update with feature enhancements across the cabin and exterior.

The Updated MG Hector Facelift will debut with a refreshed front fascia, highlighted by a newly designed grille with twin vertical slats. Subtle updates to the front and rear bumpers and a revised alloy wheel pattern are also part of the visual changes. The model is positioned as a mid-cycle refresh rather than a complete redesign.

Inside, the SUV is set to receive an updated 14-inch HD portrait touchscreen infotainment system with improved response. Features such as multi-touch gesture controls, a fully digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, and connected car tech are also expected to continue. Ventilated front seats, along with an expected addition of ventilated rear seats, further enhance cabin comfort.

Engine options remain unchanged, with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol producing 143 PS and 250 Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual or CVT. The 2.0-litre diesel engine continues with 170 PS and 350 Nm, mated to a 6-speed manual. Mileage figures for both engines have not been officially confirmed yet.
