BMW Motorrad has confirmed production of the F 450 GS at the TVS Hosur plant, making it the brand’s new entry point into the GS lineup in India. The bike was officially revealed in production form at EICMA 2025, confirming its design direction and feature package. Its launch timeline currently indicates an early 2026 arrival in India.

The F 450 GS features the Easy Ride Clutch system, allowing clutch-free starts and shifts while preventing engine stall at low speeds. Features such as a 6.5-inch TFT display, Rain/Road/Enduro riding modes, and electronic aids like ABS Pro and Dynamic Traction Control enhance its capability. Higher variants also offer Shift Assistant Pro and Enduro Pro riding mode.

The motorcycle is powered by a newly developed 420cc liquid-cooled parallel twin making 47.6 PS and 43 Nm, paired with a unique 135-degree crankpin offset. It comes with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup, optimized ergonomics for stand-up riding, and mileage of approximately 26.3 kmpl.
